2014 Assembly Democratic Caucus Members

The mission of the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee, or ADCC, is to help elect Democrats to the Wisconsin Assembly. As the campaign arm for Wisconsin Assembly Democrats, the ADCC serves as a logistical hub for both incumbent Democratic members of the Assembly as well as prospective candidates.

The ADCC’s resources are used exclusively to assist Assembly candidates and their campaign organizations to further the goal of achieving a Democratic majority in the Wisconsin State Assembly. To that end, the staff and members of the ADCC work extensively with candidates and grassroots volunteers and organizations to strengthen the campaign efforts of those seeking election to the Wisconsin State Assembly.

The ADCC staff assist candidates with technical advice on strategy, targeting, fundraising as well as messaging and media planning. The ADCC staff and members have many years of experience working with Assembly candidates and campaigns and regularly put that knowledge to work on behalf of both first time candidates and incumbents seeking re-election.

Governor Walker and Assembly Republicans have launched an all out assault on the working families of Wisconsin. They have shattered our common sense progressive and pragmatic values and institutions with their attacks on public education, health care and the voting rights of our citizens. Now, more than ever, we need a Democratic majority in the State Assembly to stop and reverse the assault on the working families of Wisconsin.

The Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee is working everyday to elect candidates who will fight against and reverse the far right Walker agenda.

The Assembly Democrats are committed to protecting the most vulnerable individuals in our society while getting Wisconsin back to work.

Now, more than ever, we need to stand up for working families in Wisconsin but we cannot do it without your help.

Please stop back often for updates and information about what we are doing to protect working families in Wisconsin.

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) -- A group of state Democrats will be holding a hearing on the proposed state budget tomorrow in Wausau.

That session is being hosted by Assistant Assembly Democratic Leader Katrina Shankland (D-Stevens Point), Senator Julie Lassa (D-Stevens Point), and Joint Finance Committee Member Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh).

The state’s flagship job-creation agency is once again facing criticism for its failure to track public subsidies to private companies and for the departure of numerous top executives.

Democrats on the state's Joint Finance Committee are questioning Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's decision to delay a debt repayment of $108 million to help shore up the state's budget shortfall in the current fiscal year.

In a letter sent to the Republican governor on Monday, the committee's four Democratic lawmakers criticized the decision as "shortsighted" and "not fiscally responsible."
