As the Mayor of Dodgeville, the local news said, “Novak bragged publicly about getting preferential treatment from his city’s police department.” In fact, three witnesses alleged Novak boasted at a party that he wouldn’t get in trouble with the police if he broke the law because he had “a Mayoral pass.”₁
Todd Novak made it easier for politicians to live above the law.
In the Assembly, Novak voted to make it more difficult to investigate and prosecute career politicians for corruption. These are not the values we want from our elected leaders.₂
Todd Novak is looking out for corporations, not us.
He has voted to steal public-school funds and send them to rich private schools.₃ Todd Novak even voted against regularly testing water supplies, which covers the liability of corporations, but puts children at risk.₄
